The Joint Entrance Examination Council, Uttar Pradesh (JEECUP) conducts the UPJEE Polytechnic examination every year for admission to Diploma, Polytechnic and Post Diploma courses in government and private institutes of Uttar Pradesh.

• Mathematics and Science are mandatory subjects for engineering diploma courses.
• Some diploma groups require Class 12th or ITI qualification.
